Dondero has over 30 years of experience in the credit and equity markets, specifically on high-yield and distressed investing. He has leadership positions in many prominent organizations. He is the chair of Nexbank, Cornerstone Healthcare, and CCS Medical. Mr. Dondero is also a board member of MGM Studios and American Banknote. He also served as the Portfolio Manager at the American Express. He had also served as a Corporate Bond Analyst.

James is an active philanthropist and supports initiatives in education, public policy, and veteran’s affairs. As the Chief Investment Officer, he aided the build out of GIC subsidiary of protective life from its inception.
